This is actually a-ok and pretty funny!

This was funny! I know the premise is forced, but John Grisham had to lose his serious no nonsense demeanor sooner or later and try something carefree just for the sake of being a human being and writing the book Skipping Christmas was as good an excuse as any.

How long did it take, and without writing me a book report, can someone please explain how closely the movie followed the book? If I read the book and watch the movie simultaneously, would it be like closed captioning for the hearing impaired?

I'm rereading the book now and it is very close to the book. As I read I can clearly see the movie play in my mind. I just started and one change is he totals up last years spending on Christmas at home, not at work. So far that is the only difference I've come across.

I enjoyed this movie I brought it on DVD earlier this year.
