Beautifully filmed

This was one of the most beautifully filmed movies I've seen in quite some time. Great visuals. Great shots, great frameups, great lighting, great camera work, great cinematography.
This film was slow, and boring at times, in between humerous moments, and I was somewhat dissappointed in the story, and especially the ending, but visually, this was one of the best films in recent memory, if only visually.
By the way, does anyone know where the Texas and Louisiana scenes, especially the boat travelling scenes were shot? I'm not real familiar with those areas. I've been in inland Texas, but not on the coast.
