The DVD is shorter - has it been cut?

The run time for the film on IMDB is 114 minutes, and on the DVD 107. I have just watched Schultze for the second time, but this time on DVD, and there definitely appears to be a scene missing. If I recall correctly, Schultze is dancing with a woman (possibly in a dream sequence), and the whole scene presages the scene where he does fall ill.

I wonder what else might be missing... but I am sure as I can be that the scene I'm thinking of was there the first time I saw the film.

I think this is a beautifully understated film, and I love that it treats its audience intelligently.

IMDb lists runtimes according to theatrical releases, where the movies are played with 24 frames per second. The movie plays slightly faster on DVD (25 fps, ~4% faster), ergo it's shorter even without missing content.
There might still be some minor additional cuts, but they wouldn't be more than ~2 minutes.
