It sounds like River Queen is in a bit of trouble. Samantha Morton is sick and they are also running out of money fast. Don't you think it was a bit of a silly idea filming in the Whanganui River in the middle of winter?

Morton has been acting like a spoilt brat on set.
the movie is haveing money troubles and mortan troubles.
sutherland and ward are very keen to see the production carry on.
I'm pretty sure Morton is genuinely sick and it isn't hard to imagine why.
May'be "running out of money" was the wrong term. It wasn't very well funded to begin with.
Well I personally hope River Queen makes it to the big screen...cos yeah ...all the pple workin on it are doing a great job ...and well as for Samatha...well ..ka aroha !!...and just quietly..what the hell was wrong with our great nz actresses doing that part ...at least they would have been able to handle the tempetures !!....anyway its colder from where she comes from isnt it. Honestly some of them xtras had less clothes on them...maybe she just dont like our country...and decided she'd just be miserable because of that...still hope her health improves. and she re-cuperates. and we can still get to see ourselves on the movie !...wohooooooo !

Because the film is set wjust after the first European settlers had settled in, from the UK and Ireland, Samantha Morton is playing an Irish immigrant. She's an Academy Award nominee too so thats good.

Well u wanna see wot happens behind the scenes! Talk about DISASTER! But it was fun and a gud experience for me so im not complaining and plus i was getting paid $250.00 a day just to sit around and eat and listen to music in the actors green room and to be on-call on set wen they needed me! How cool is that! And they paid for my accommodation in OHAKUNE at the Chalets! Plus gave me transport and i was getting all this on top of $250.00 a day! Oh and if Rawiri reads this i jst wanna say Hello! If u dnt remember me i'm stormys sister! actually im not really we jst pretended we were! Thats why sam had a cold bt so did Keifer and he didnt moan or stop the whole film jst coz he had a cold! Coz hes cool as and down to earth! And so is Tem hes cool as!
