20,000 turn out for world premier

but that wasn't the world premier, it showed months beforehand at the toronto film fest; hence the '2005' by its title.

Fair enough....: except a festival screening is not referred to as the world premier unless it is called such, the film also closed the Hawaii Film Festival, and also screened to 3,000 people in the outdoor New Zealand tribute in Korea, but....

the world premier , open to the film-makers and public was, in The Embassy 3 , in Wanganui, on the 24th of January , and attended ( obviously not in the same auditorium !!! :>) ) by 20,000 people out of a population of 44,000.... not bad me-thinks!

I work at Embassy 3 in Wanganui and the turnout for the premiere was amazing. I didn't expect so many to show but it was a fantastic night and was great for the image of Wanganui ay.
It a shame not so many people have been coming to the public showings scince.
