Releases in South Africa?

It looks like this film was a BBC production. Am I right? Was it released in SA? I'm interested in filmed and cinematic depictions of the TRC and am curious with this film who they were aiming it at--an international or local SA audience. Anyone know?

Hey, Your Loss.
I just picked this up in my video/CD outlet in the U.S.A. because I don't remember it being hyped, or even featured, here.
It is the best Hilary Swank I have ever seen, and Chiwetel Ejiofor is even better. (WHEN are we going to see a ROMANCE SCENE? What a tease! You'd think it was the 1950's! I keep waiting for the waterfall, or the jet taking off.)
I would say, in U.S.A. we are accustomed to court-room drama, it being the staple of prime-time TV from Perry Mason to CSI. So, to me it wasn't boring. It was great drama, and informs my view of South African history-----for better or worse.

Probably international, or maybe mainly british audience (the movie was made by the BBC), since it was "selling" the idea of truth and reconciliation, as opposed to revenge, and the local south african audience was familiar with this idea already and thus wouldn't need this sort of educational, but still good movie.

It was co produced by the BBC and it seems it was shot in South Africa.
