Why is the DVD called Platillos Voladores?

I borrowed this from Netflix, since I had read a Jacques Vallee book which dealt with the case the blurb for this movie mentions.

However, upon getting it, I noticed that the dvd cover (and the menu) calls it "Platillo Voladores", but the titles of the movie itself calls it "Platillos Volantes", which is the title here. And which according to my rather rusty Spanish, is the proper way of saying "Flying Saucers" (I think). I think the other means "Saucer Flyers", which would be the people in it?

Anyone with better Spanish than me able to explain the difference?

Volante is Volador as Color is Colour. In latinamerica we say Volador and in Spain they say Volante.

Do you understand this?

reply
