I have the DVD on my desk and at least the box boasts Swedish and English subtitles. I've yet to check if they really exist and what the quality is. The region logo says "1-6", so the Finnish disk might even play around the world.

DVD with english and swedish subtitles has been released and one site where you can order it is www.filmifriikki.fi . They also have english-language site, just click UK flag in front page and search with movie title.

Price is 19,90 EUR+ 4 EUR Shipping and handling to EU countries or 8 EUR) Shipping and handling to other countries. Price is anyway almost the same (about 24 EUR, because you don't have to pay finnish V.A.T if you live outside EU.

In Australia SBS tv station showed this film with English Subtitles last week, however the movie was called " The Frozenland" I only caught second Half and really enjoyed it, I am hoping to get my hands on a copy with English subtitles too.

I saw it on SBS too and unfortunately missed the start as well. I loved it, but was wondering ... what was the relationship of the policewoman to the car-thief? (Why was she stripping when she's got a job and a family? Or was that a flashback?)

reply

I don't know if I misunderstood the movie but in my opinion they weren't the same person. The stripper was just some random girl who didn't have much to do with the story.

reply

Oh ok ... guess I wasn't watching closely enough.

But why would the policewoman be so distraught over the guys death?

reply

Well I guess it would be a shock to anyone if you were first to found two brutally murdered corpses. Don't know though, haven't been there.

reply

The stripper is the ex-girlfriend of the guy who steals the SUV.

I think the guy himself used to work behind the bar there at one point.
