After watching the DVD the film looks like it was shot handheld, but seems to have a film look to it. I just got a Canon XL 2 progressive scan camcorder and the picture looks alot like that. Does anyone know how Riots was shot?

Im pretty sure it was filmed on videocameras to match the look of the 1992 Riots stock footage.
