Love this movie!

I watched this movie with my mom when it came out on DVD (seems like forever ago), and it was awesome! Granted it was a little bit slow at first, but it really picks up and the comedy is reserved more for the end, which makes it a happy ending.

This movie really hit home with my family, because Maggie is exactly like my Aunt- the stealing, lying, drinking, lacking a job, mooching, getting into trouble... pretty much the sameperson minus shooting drugs. Many times I looked over and my mom was almost in tears because it was so true. That really shows how realistic the book (and movie) is (are).

Oh and the author of the book, Jennifer Weiner, graduated from my high school! All the English teachers were so proud when they made it into a movie haha
