OMFG! Restored and Remastered in HiDef!

Just saw the PBS American Masters documentary, The Doors: When You're Strange, that included much of HWY which had obviously been restored and in HD. Amazing! Actually looked so good it seemed as if it had just been filmed in 70mm. Not a single spec of dirt, no grain, colors bright, crisp detail.

Hoping to god it's included as an extra when the DVD is released, along with a bunch of other bonus footage. If not, then it could make big money as a release all on it's own.

I'd pay money!

Sadly, it's not included as an extra. Yes, I, too, hope that the copyright owners (finally) release this highly praised and sought-after short (especially because of the restoration showcased in WYS).
