On TV in Oz

Anybody in Australia watching this on SBS right now?

What the...? Supposed to be a comedy!

A very slight one, if that. It is surreal, though.

Well... it certainly has its own style!

I enjoyed SEVERED more. (Shown last week on SBS.)

Now, what's next in this "Zombie Season"?

Yeah I was watching it when you posted. I really enjoyed this flick. Felt it dragged a little in the latter part of the film but as a long time zombie (horror in general)movie fan I have to say I was impressed with the originality shown by the production in terms of story and classic "creature feature" B&W cinematography. Hats off to these guys attempting to do something new with an often heavily cliched genre. Man SBS rocks. Look forward to the next zombie film in their line up. (Kicking myself I missed last weeks Severed though!!!!).

Edit: I just went and checked out the imdb posting for severed. Seen it on SBS as a "cult movie of the week" a couple of years ago. Pretty good film if my memory serves me. :)

Oh & my money's on "Undead" for next week!

I checked the TV guide and they're showing "Dead & Breakfast" which is actually quite brilliant. Bit like Shaun of the Dead. MUCH BETTER than Zombie Nurse ... Hope you enjoy it!

I taped it and watched it tonight. Was a bit disappointed it was in black and white. Thought, bloody SBS! Never tunes in properly. It WAS supposed to be a black comedy (horror/comedy??) but I didn't find it funny. It was OK but not brilliant. I know it was low-budget blah, blah, blah but still, was pretty cheesy.
