First of all, I'd like to say that I highly appericiate the opinions of our Indian brothers. Anti-Pakistan (in India) OR anti-India (in Pakistan) films should NOT be made, or should be Banned. "Deewanan nol" my freind, what u say is right, BUT many people, many pakistanis can interpret this as, the film says that the Majority is evil, and then u have few good guys who tries to help them, thats a miniority. Often in anti-pakistan films, u have few guys who either help the indians, or tries to help. They are often against their own system, or their own goverment. As I understand most of these movies have a good rating because of thier own value as a film, it can be everything form major starcast( LOC ), to good camerawork, cinematography, editing, good acting etc. It's a new trend now I've noticed Im not a typical bollywood fan actually, but anyways. There are films were they have characters who portray pakistanis, but their not mainly focused on ind-pak relation,. These films usually are pro Ind-pak freindship films, like a little hidden message. For example: Namaste London. Or an bit older film "I'm proud to be Indian". Another minus in making anti-pak films are the actors's image. Most of the Bollywood stars are respected and loved in Pak, just like in India. Ofcurse when they star in such films their image is shattered. Sunny Deol is a fine example. People in pak liked him specially punjabis. Another important thing is, these films aren't blockbusters in India either. I mean Border was a huge hit if Im not wrong, but it was like one of the first of its kind. Pro-India films on the contanrary side are often very good, one my favorites is "Hindustani/Indian", the one with Kamal Hassan, (great actor), big hit in pak, why?, because of the similarities of these two countries, same issues, same problems, etc. Again anti-pak OR anti-India, because there are some anti-india pakistani films too, but the first ones made it good cause the issue was somehow new but then again, after that, they went flop. Sorry for a long reply, and tnx 4 reading.
