Mobeus Brooch!!!!!! arrghh! (spoiler question/comment)

There were no boards for curse of darkness so I decided to post here. Why is it that after working hard to beat game on crazy difficulty, I can only use mobeus brooch for THAT record?? I loved how in lament of innocence, I was able to use it from the beginning in a new normal record. However, in curse of darkness, even though I have a saved record with mobeus brooch unlocked, I can't buy it from Julia's shop in a new regular record!! This stinks!! Also, Trevor is probably an even more aggressive Belmont then richter and they showed Isaac nearly killing him!! Surprise attack or not, killing ANY Belmont should NEVER be that easy, especially one that defeated alucard and slew drac! Besides those two things, I loved the new ID thing in this game with Hector, but I still enjoyed playing as trevor even more, lol. He's a total bada$$!!
