Is this film boring? - or worth a try?
shareBoring? Not at all boring. Unless you want non-stop action and histrionics, then you might find it boring. But if you find films with interesting and complex characters to your taste, you will enjoy this lovely and touching film.
shareNo, this film is not boring. This is the sort of film critics' describe as a "small" movie.
It's a quiet story calmly told. All the performances are are good, especially the female leads, Lola Naymark and Ariane Ascaride. My only complaint with the film was it's ending. It's one of those films where you are watching a scene, and then in the next frame the credits are suddenly rolling. Even though the story had been completed, I would have preferred a less sudden ending.
Worth a look, and if you are able to receive Netflix it is available for rental under the title "Sequins".
Well, I have seen a part of it in french language without subtitles. Unfortunately my French wasn't sufficient. Most impressive was the red hair of the lead that created nice visual contrasts in various scenes. Seems to be slightly boring but within tolerable range.

It's a small nice movie. I loved the sound track and the photography.
shareits cute..i love the cinematography and score! (like with most french films) and the lead actress is so classically beautiful i really could imagine her as "girl with the pearl earring"
