They'll be closed?


Here is a question.

In most (maybe all) of the bottom live shows when Rik and Adr
break character they often say somthing like: Get on with it they'll be f*ing closed by now. What does that mean exactly?

I guess it's a brit thing and gun to my head I'd have to guess they are refering to the pup's, but I'd still like to know for sure.

there talking about the pubs, i reckon if they do another live show theyll have to change it cos we have 24 hour licences now

Yep, any time this line is spoken, it refers to the closure of the bar. Not sure about anywhere else in the world, but most pubd (not clubs) close at 11pm over here in the UK. Hope this clears this up for ya.

It's definitely about the pub closing. Similar thing happens in parts of Australia.

They mean the theatre will be closed.
As the audience/performers have "extended" the play...the theatre is closed.

It's an age old stage play gag.
