Just finished it (First time seeing it) Loose end Questions? (SPOILERS)

First off, this is a great series, at the level of Elfen-lied except the storyline here is better. Second, I feel the first half is way better than the 2nd half when Yuji goes down back to earth in a psycho move and the whole "Earth wants to kill us" thing. Anyways on to the questions:

1) What happened to Yujis friend Takashi? We dont know his fate...

2) Why did the citizens of Second earth kill Miyagi and destroy the station? I thought they liked it there..

3) What was that final boss? No core = it was intended for it to roam the earth forever and prevent the kill switch ultimately?

Thats it, hopefully people will read this and answer for the last post was April lol

1) He, in all likelihood, died. The majority of people died and they state that those that were allowed on the space station were people that were of some significance or usefulness. The reason the show focuses on him so often wasn't to imply that Yuji would meet him again but to be the personification of the world that no longer existed.

2)They didn't like it there, Miyagi just decided that Earth was a lost cause so it was all they had. The station was mostly military personnel and without a mission and very little resources, discord was inevitable. They tried to rebel and ended up destroying the whole station, probably not on purpose, but they got desperate and violent and that was the result.

3)The Blue were constantly evolving, that creature was just the next stage, but it came as the necessity for the blue was dwindling. When Yuji killed it he probably put an end to the blue for good, because there was no reason for the earth to create more.

Some of my answers are of course speculation but I feel like they're based in enough evidence from the show to be pretty solid.
