Just started watching this on TV in Australia and notice that it's in widescreen, whereas the DVD release is not.
I compared them, and this is true widescreen, not cropped from the 4:3 version.
So does anyone know if any version of this to buy is in widescreen?

Thought it was odd.

Just to add, the first half of the series was shown widescreen, now the rest seem to be in 4:3 like the DVDs. odd.

It's too bad because this show is beautiful. The designs are great. Sometimes it's looks like a page right out of Heavy Metal...when it was decent.
