The original Rugrats will be officially ending in 2004

Yep. It's true. Sad, but true! I dont think its fair. 13 years, then just end it?! Who agrees?
But there is a little bit of good news, though. They'll be creating another spin-off about Susie and Angelica going into preschool (we also see Harold from All Grown Up when he's in preschool).

I personally think it's time for the original "Rugrats" to retire. The show's humor isn't what it used to be. I think "All Grown Up" is VERY refreshing in the case that it isn't the same thing over again (ex: the babies do something and Angelica gets a random punishment). Growing up has REALLY expanded the possibilities of what can happen. It's new, original, and brings back a flavor that starting to go stale in the original "Rugrats".

I'm glad it's ending. It was getting kind of old. 13 years of seeing them mispronunce words was funny at times but now it's tired.

I personally think that all of the Rugrats episodes were good. Kimi just brightened it all up. Well at least we still have All Grown Up, its awesome! Plus nobody really watched the Rugrats anymore. It wasn't "cool". Over 300 episodes! And the part where they sang in the Rugrats movie was really stupid. What was with the singing newborn babies and the monkeys? Now I just hope Nickelodeon cancels the new All That and if a miracle happens, brings back the old cast.

It's about time they cancelled the dry well that was once "Rugrats"! Every episode was always the same! (the grown-ups use an expression that the babies take literally, a series of coincidences happen that provides "evidence" for their problems, the babies attempt to "save" the world, more coincidences happen that make it seem like they saved everyone, Dil sits in a corner being annoying, the end) The babies (and grown-ups) were getting dumber every episode, and the new characters didn't help.

Nobody would follow an uncharismatic bore like you!

I love the Rugrats but ever since Dil appeared on the scene the show began its downfall. Nick should show the reruns of the Rugrats before Dill and Kimmy...and not replace it with teeny bop shows.

I grew up with the Rugrats, but I do think it's time for it to retire. They seriously dumbed them down after they got Dil and Kimi in. Not to mention the potty humor just got... crazy.
But they just HAD to make All Grown Up, didn't they? They just COULDN'T leave it alone... :/ gah.

I like the old Rugrats cartoons when they were trying to get the designs of the babies right. It was so funny watching those early ones! Here are my favorites in no particular order.

Tommy's First Birthday
Weening Tommy
Regarding Stuie
Slumber Party
Superhero Chuckie
Mother's Day Special
The 7 voyages of Cynthia
the Santa Experience
Psyco Angelica
The Mysterious Mr friend

I also like the one where Angelica fakes a busted leg to get attention. Her Doctor was a real dip to not even Notice that the X ray was that of an adult broken leg! Even Stu and Dee Dee were too stupid to relize that she was faking....

I will have to find the eppy guide to find more titles, but some of these should be out on DVD....

I'm upset that Rugrats has ended but it kind of needed to. Rugrats started going downhill once Dil came along and Kimi just made it worse. I do like All Grown Up though. I think it is a good continuation of Rugrats.
My top five favorite Rugrats episodes are:
1.Together at Last
2.Pickles vs. Pickles
3.Reptar's Revenge
4.I Remember Melville
5.Slumber Party

*All the world's a stage, and all the men and women merely players.*
