No. The show's a bit better than later Rugrats episodes at the very least. Honestly Rugrats kinda stunk after it's first 4 or 5 years, and I actually think this was a stepup. I honestly lost interest in Nick around the late 90's though.
shareThis was a pretty good show, it's just too bad Nick treated it so poorly(there was a gap of almost a year between the second and third seasons). It's nowhere near the worst spin-off, I can name at least a dozen ones that were far worse(Joani Loves Chachi anyone?)
shareNot at all. I found it more interesting than the Rugrats. Rugrats has its novelty, but them being older provides more options. It was a slice of life show and I personally enjoyed it.

The first few years of the original Rugrats was really good. Then they introduced Dil and it went to piss. Then again they added Kimi and it got even worse.
All Grown Up was sort of refreshing. It wasn't a horrible show but it wasn't anywhere near the origial.
I love the Rugrats in the beginning too. It was great to see Rugrats experience a little change with Tommy getting a brother, in one way I wanted to see how Angelica would be with a younger sibling so she wouldn't be so snooty.
I didn't watch Rugrats all the way I'm viewing the re-runs on Teen Nick or SPLAT.
I do like All Grown Up its nice to see the babies all grown up and see a personality in each of them.

I'm actually glad that they decided to keep her as an only child. I grew up being an only child and spoiled, so I can relate to her. In one episode she was very close to having a younger sibling and she was not having it, but it turns out that her mom was never pregnant after all. It was rather a false alarm.

I have to agree. The seasons before Dil were a bit a more interesting. I did think that All Grown Up was a decent show. It reminded me of Rocket Power.

Agreed, I totally agreed with that lineup. I think the pre-Dil seasons had the most iconic episodes, IMO.
