After first reading about it on Amazon US I became interested in the film, partly because James Morrison stars in it.
shareIt's been dropped by distributors apparently. Or so one of the extras told me. Did anyone find the whole nude "masturbation" conversation tasteless? I know it's a silly teenage horror film, but the whole thing seemed to be very exploitative of the actresses. Is that the sort of risks up and coming actresses have to take in order to get work?

Actually, I think that the entire masturbation conversation was very mature and tasteful. The one thing that has often annoyed me in the US is that we have a tendency to not respond well to graphic discussions about sex and sexuality. The masturbation conversation was actually more indicative of European films, which have a much more mature attitude about sex. Incidentally, I and my friends, both male and female, have talked about masturbation openly, so I also felt that the scene was very real.
shareI also didn't feel it was distateful. It could have been quite worse if it had been meant to be exploitative. This and the kissing scene walk a fine line, but they seem to be ok. And when seen together, kind of help build up the characters and the motives behind them.
