sad after watching this


did anyone else feel real depressed after watching this or was it just me but after seeing it i felt real sad.

But, hey, wherever he is now, he's not bound by the problems he had - I really do believe that he is 'free' now, and his legacy is pretty remarkable, when you think about it.

he seemed to be happy, he was an artist, then a musician. made music that he was clearly proud of that was heard by millions of people. many of us don't even try to set our goals in life that high let alone accomplish them and actually making an impact on the world. if having the guts to display your creativity to the world is not "free" then i don't know what is. then again guts may have had nothing to do with it he was the epitome of being uninhibited. so yea, him pitying us would be more like it. and this is the cheesiest thing i've ever typed.

I actually felt elated after watching this documentary. It was so heartwarming to see Wesley Willis hanging out with his friends, writing and recording his music, talking to fans, and generally enjoying life as best he could considering his severe psychological affliction. Willis was a true testament to the triumph of the human spirit.
