I can't place exactly what it is, but this one just wasn't as good as Mask of Light. It might be because all the good stuff happened in the comics. But that's just what I thought of it.

share7 years too late to respond, but I agree with you. I think personally this was the worst of the 4 bionical movies, yet its the highest rated.
shareI don't know... I usually consider this to be my fave of the four, actually. I mean, the story is rushed, yes, filled with holes, the comic relief is ungodly unfunny and annoying, the villains are toned down to total lameness, and the animation is also pretty piss poor in a lot of shots, but...
Hmm. Thinking it through, just why do I like it? Perhaps it has to do with me liking the base-story, rather than the movie's poor execution thereof? As opposed to the stories of the other movies, which I personally didn't care for that much.
