Does anybody know if this is the movie with a crazy farmer so possessive over his land that even after his death he killed anyone he thought as trespassers? The dead in the movie I saw got tied to his land and couldn't 'find rest'. When new people came they had to help trap them too. In the end somone survived and left taking some of the remains with him and so releasing whoever it belonged. Dawn was important cause the only way out (a small bridge) disappeared every morning as the first rays of sunshine appeared trapping their soul even if they hadn't died.

I only caught the end so I'm not sure this is the one, can't remember any bats...
Does it ring any bells?

No idea what movie you are refering to. but "The Roost" had little to no explanation as to why infected people were after the three characters. they certaintly weren't zombies. I assumed the people on the Farm were bitten by Bats with Rabies and infected. and thus began attacking the trio. the old time Horror show was just an interesting framing device.

It must have been a different movie then, cause in the big finale the main characters found out what was happening and how to stop it. Plus I wouldn't call the dead 'zombies'. They were corporeal and interacting normally, trying to lure the main character into traps and then he would stumble into their remains and realise it wasn't accidents.

It wasn't a crazy good movie but like the stupid song you hear first thing in the morning and can't stop humming, it just stuck and I can't find it to watch it and get this over with!
