What, exactly, did the title mean?

What did the title mean? I'm sure it was not indicating prime numbers.

And that the kid is in his sexual prime as well, males peaking far sooner than females.

Also Rafi is 37 years old; Dave is 23. This may be a joke on the movie's title, as 37 and 23 are both prime numbers (i.e., numbers that are divisible only by themselves and by 1).

Yeah, but a year later when they see each other he's 24 and she's 38. They have a common factor: 2, which apparently still isn't enough. So, they should wait 4 more years until he's 28 and she's 42. Then they'll have 2 common factors: 7 & 2. I think they're planning a sequel: "Prime Plus Five". They must be working on it in secret right now.

I really don't think it has anything to do with math. As stated before, it comes from the therapist telling Rafi that she's in her sexual prime. It's not a very good title, but the title only matters for marketing purposes.

I know who I am! I'm a dude playing a dude disguised as another dude!

Obviously refer to sexual prime in both characters: Men have his prime when they are 20-something, and women after their 30's. That's why the older female-young male couple are sexually explosive, just like Rafi and David.

reply

Rafi is in the prime of her life.

reply

Hey, maybe the title is from Star Trek! By interfering where she's not supposed to the therapist is violating the Prime Directive.

reply

That makes sense, especially since Rafi's birth date is clearly a reference to Star Trek's TV debut in 1966.

I cannot.
Yet I must.
How do you calculate that?
