The best point brought up in this documentary

One thing I never knew prior to seeing this show regarded "The Magic Bullet Theory."

Frankly, the thing that absolutely convinced me that there was no conspiracy was Oliver Stone's movie. If Stone said, it, I knew it had to be a lie. But I never knew exactly how to handle the "Magic Bullet." This show (Jenning's documentary) brought out the fact that John Connelly (sp?) sat on a jump seat, inboard to and lower than the seat JFK was in. What an important fact! All by itself, that fact showed Stone for what he truly is: a filthy liar.

I'm a Republican who generally mistrusts the mainstream media, but I always liked Peter Jennings and I miss him a lot. And although I'm a Republican, I feel as if John Kennedy's assassination was a terrible loss for the country and that he would have avoided many of the awful mistakes perpetuated by LBJ. Having said that, there is no justification for developing an entire mythology in order to somehow give more meaning to JFK's death. An insect named Lee Harvey Oswald killed him, and nothing can change that fact.
