Read the books

As I scrolled through the previous messages and topics posted here I found out that the majority of questions and (for most of the topics) harsh critics it all has but one answer: Read the books. After reading the books you can get a better understanding of the films since a lot of the background is never told in the films.

And no, I do not believe Tolkien was a nazi or a racist.
