I rented this based on the box cover/synopsis.

What a goddamn waste of f&*^ing time. This movie is crap in every aspect: the actors suck, the plot is retarded, the main charcter is someone you want to kill because he is so lame and stupid, the sound sucks, everything sucks.

I wish everyone involved with this movie was wiped off this earth. It is such crap I felt ripped off even though it was like $4 only. If I ever saw any of these pathetic actors on the street I would kick them in the balls.

People complain about Hollywood. And I agree with them. But this trash is worse than a Shoemaker film.

it may be the worst movie ever, but joe pilato is awesome. i hang out with his son phillato all the time. nice guy.

Why do people get so angry when they watch a movie they don't like? Seriously, it's just a movie...are you expecting to like every single movie made? I'm glad I don't freak out every time I see a film I don't like, otherwise I probably would have stopped watching movies back in the 80's.

And like others on here have said, there are far far worse out there.

I disagree. THE GHOULS is a great flick! It works despite its fuzzy images and dirty sound - which is pretty much amazing nowadays!

It surely isn't a movie for everyone. If you happen to only like super-enhanced, overly post-produced big Hollywood movies, don't watch this.

If you're into underground stuff, you'd love THE GHOULS!

I'm in between on this. The sound, especially the muddied BG music, was annoying in a hypnotic way. It in no was heightened the tension of the movie, which may have been the intended effect, but rather distracted from it.

A decent low-budget indie horror effort nonetheless.
