Where in London is Justin's house?

Does anyone know what area of London (?) was used for Justin's house? It looked quite nice.

Definitely central West London. I didn't look too carefully (it was on TV just now), but I think it was Notting Hill Gate/Holland Park. Or possibly South Kensington/Chelsea. Both are more than "quite nice" areas nowadays - a whole house in either would set you back several, perhaps many millions of pounds, I'm afraid...

Yeah, just been watching it on TV now. Also think Kensington or Chelsea. Quite a pricy property to afford on a civil servant's salary (and not that senior a servant in all honesty) but he may have been renting it or it could have been a Government-owned property.

he might have bought it before the various property booms priced people out of London. I mean before the system where oligarchs and oil sheiks started using London property as parking spots for money, regardless of whether or not any 'Londoner' or anyone else is resident in the property.

They did make reference to the "house in Chelsea"--not that that necessarily means they filmed it there, of course. As far as his affording it, I thought it was Tessa's house--and according to her cousin, she was well off. (Or did they show his house as well, and I'm thinking of the wrong place? If so--never mind.)

They did indeed refer to 'Tessa's house in Chelsea' which presumably she could afford because her family were said to be very well off. A middle ranking diplomat is unlikely ever to have been able to afford such a house, unless it was inherited from 'old money'. I used to know a British diplomat who served out in Kenya and the most he could afford was a 1970s bungalow in the outer suburbs of London!
