Name Symbolism

Now the title of this film is obviously referring to gardening. Of course, Justin is a gardener for a hobby, yet this does not account for the 'constant' part. On various sites people tend to believe that he is a 'constant gardener' because he keeps digging until he finds the truth about who put his wife in the ground. Also, some argue that the world is a garden that constantly needs tending, as the 'weeds' (the malevolent companies) keep sprouting up, only hurting the original vegetation. Finally, the company in the novel/film keeps digging holes to 'plant' people in the ground, while Justin is digging them up (not too sure about that final one's validity).

Gardening is also represented in the names. 'Bluhm' means flower, emphasizing his beautiful nature. 'Lorbeer' is German for a laurel/bay leef, a plant I'm not that familiar with. I was wondering if there's any more gardening or plant symbolism to be found?
