If you love Bee Seaon then -

You really must see this movie - http://us.imdb.com/title/tt0332285/ - Off The Map, 2003.

I am convinced you will enjoy this film and get lost in it's beauty.

Afterwards, when you do get to experience this film would you return to this Bee Season page and help Ludwig in his mission to point the way for others to find their way off their maps? You'll know why by then.

Currently there are only 182 replies on the Off The Map message boards compared to 766 here - so the trail going to Off The Map needs some more markers to help those who search.

Here is another film Bee Season lovers must see - http://us.imdb.com/title/tt0211915/ - Amelie, 2001, a French film, aka Le fabuleux destin d'Amélie Poulain.

Hope you can see these gems soon. And -

Do you as a fan of Bee Season have some film finds that need to be added to the "Must See" list?

Look where no one else is looking and see what no one else sees.

Amélie is enjoyable, sure, but nothing like Bee Season; it's accessible, as its ratings attest. Bee Season doesn't spell it out for you. Rather, it expects your imagination and empathy to fill in the dots, not to mention a bit of experience and general knowledge. For more unapologetic eclectiveness watch another McGehee & Siegel: Suture (1993) (referenced to as one of the spelling words).

Charles de Gaulle, when asked if he was happy:

What do you take me for, an idiot?
