Actually it is from June 10 to October 1st and will have a whole new cast. From the source

Just drove by one of the sets this morning in Cambridge, Ontario. Looked like a small entourage but then again it is only a television show.

I just saw an advertisement on Citytv saying it will premiere in January 2008 and every other source, except imdb, states it premies this year. How do you explain the discrepancy?

To quote the UK's TV magazine the Radio Times: "The new series of Murdoch Mysteries is coming to Alibi (Sky channel 132 and Virgin Media 130) on Tuesday 15 February at 9pm".

Not being a cable-subscriber(!), I'll have to wait :-( for this to air on UK terrestrial or the ever-friendly Freeview channels.

I look forward to it.

I love 99% of crime dramas on TV; excluding the first series of the UK's 'Rebus', wink-wink!! White horses metaphorically [yes, I know it's not possible!] charging round the streets of Edinburgh?! In the middle of a crime drams?! I ask you!! And John Hannah just wasn't old or 'raddled' enough to be Rebus.

And I tend to like most Canadian TV progs (don't get me raving about 'Due South'! I'd be here for hours!)
