Season 16 Announced
Season 16 is in production now for broadcast in early 2017. There will be 10 episodes.
The first episode will be about the 1999 Payne Stewart Learjet crash.
Is the episode listing in IMDB correct? Yet ANOTHER episode about Tenerife?
It's important, and a tragedy, but as far as I know it's been covered in excrutiating detail.
There are still a lot of disasters that I don't believe have been covered:
2014: Malaysia Airlines Flight 17 shot down over Ukraine
1994: China Airlines Flight 140 pilot error
1979: Air New Zealand Flight 901 crash in Antarctica
1996: Antonov AN-32 crash killed 225 people on the ground
1998: China Airlines Flight 676 killed 203 when the pilot thought the autopilot would handle a go-around
2015: TransAsia flight 235 - I'm sure a lot of folks are waiting on this as there's car dashcam footage showing the plane careening over the highway in Taiwan
That's just a small sample - so why are we seeing Tenerife and 9/11 again?

It's correct, and I've seen it. Their 2007 production about this event (also edited a bit for a Nova episode the same year) I thought was better -- more interviews, an overall better production. It did somewhat ignore, though, the issue of crosstalk as a contributing factor, which they addressed pretty well in the new version.

And according to the Cineflix website they seem to be planning a 17th season, 10x60 minute episodes, but I can't find a confirmation from National Geographic:

Do you know when epiosde 7 will be broadcast and what country it will broadcast in, australia got season 16 first 6 episodes first but what about remaining 4 episodes?
sharei mean, imdb says the germanwings ep aired jan 1 but i can't find it anywhere at all.. i am beginning to think the show got canned or something? :(
