does anyone know the 2 narrators for this tv show?

I was wondering who are the two narrators for this show?

One of them has a very deep voice and I'm pretty sure he narrated the first episode "racing the storm", "falling from the sky" etc
The other has a much less deep voice and I think he narrated "blow out", "attack over baghdad" etc
I could be wrong but maybe there are two different narrators depending on which country you're watching in and sometimes the opening theme states "air crash investigation", other times it states "mayday" but I don't think the title depends on which narrator will be narrating.
It's on youtube if you just type 'air crash investigation' along with the name of the episode I mentioned above, there you'll notice the two narrators' voices.
And I don't know which one is stephen bogaert.

Any help?

Stephen Bogaert narrates Mayday which is the North American version of the show. His voice would be the deep one. I believe that there is another narrator (don't know the name) for Air Crash Investigations which is for the overseas market. That voice has more of a British accent.

Ahh yes, I see now. I remember on wikipedia it says Bogaert narrates for America and Canada whilst another narrator named Jonathan Aris does the same for UK, Europe and Australia. Also it says that Aris is British so it's gotta be him.

I have the Mayday dvd set, and the narrator for these is the British David Bamber.

Yes. Honestly, no offence intended to the British narrator but the Canadian one is just so much better. It almost seems like a different show when you're watching with the British narration.

I totally agree. And I think you're right that part of the issue is the pitch of the British guy's voice. I feel kind of bad critiquing that because it's not like there's anything he can do about it, but his voice is kind of nasal and it does seem less serious and soothing, as you said. It's also kind of ironic because, if you go by stereotypes, British accents are usually considered more serious and authoritative. International audiences really should get to hear Bogaert!

I like both versions, but it does appear to me that the U.K narrator is a sorta tabloid type narrative.

One of the narrators always pronounces the word "schedule" as "shedule" which is so distracting to me, lol

Personally I far prefer the narrative of the British guy - it's just more deadpan and serious. The N.American narrative is too dramatic.

I think Mayday has the American narrator and Air Crash Investigation the British.

ACI every time for me.

Prefer the Jonathon Aris narrative, but both are very watchable.
