WAH! PUNK ROCKERS

Was anybody else as amazed as I was when Kevin Ashman admitted on a recent episode to having bought a copy of 22 Dreams, by the talentless punk rocker Paul Weller?

I am disappointed. He seemed such a nice, quiet chap, too. The next thing you know, he'll be wearing a nazi armband and dyeing his hair, gobbing at Dermot and calling him a flunking rotter, breaking into a quick chorus of White Riot and stabbing Judith to death, just like Sid did to Nancy. Or at least saying that he'll be voting Conservative at the next election. Because that is how punks behave.

However, it might come as less of a surprise if C.J. were to express an admiration for the works of Pete Shelley or Tom Robinson.....
