Why Daphne Irritates Me

So, she doesn't speak like a newsreader - well, she isn't a newsreader! I don't sound so good either, and she has shown me that it doesn't matter. I confess I do find her mildly irritating at times, but I think that's due to her showing her competitive/high achieving streak and me being jealous of her knowledge. In fact I have a lot of respect for her, and I believe she does have feelings of goodwill towards the opponents. And anyone who manages to get out to lunch with CJ has my ultimate admiration....if only......

I know exactly what you mean. Her "I know the answer" antics annoy me, especially when she has already got her question wrong and is sitting out the final round.

It does make me chuckle though when she does that sometimes and then she's actually been nodding to the wrong answer and she looks all embarressed.

I also get the impression she can't stand Judith. It seems as though she thinks Judith does not belong there. So Judith gets more questions wrong, she still seems lovely and I always want her to get the questions right.


If you're not achieving what you want, is it because you're too lazy or too scared?
