I hate it when Daphne waves her little fists in the air when one of her teammates gets a question right. I hate the way she always has to let everyone know with her smirks and nods that she knows the answer to everyones questions. On a shallower note I hate her 'old lady' cardigans. Plus I reckon she hates Judith. Apart from that I am glued to Eggheads every night!
sharei agree,although i have to admit daphne is one of the stronger eggheads it doesn't excuse her rudeness to other eggheads usually judith who i find to be a true lady who doesn't feel so insecure in her intellect she needs to bounce around the desk when a question is answered incorrectly.
shareTotally agree, I complain loudly about this every time I watch her. Funny thing happened one day when she was celebrating as she does because she thought the egghead who answered the question was right, then Dermot said it was wrong. Funny stuff!

Have you noticed also that when she is doing one of her 'correct guesses' she closes one eye and squints to make it look like she's thinking really hard. She likes to say 'Dermot' in a baby girl voice 'cos I'm sure she fancies him!

What is this, a spite-Daphne-a-thon? I happen to think she's great. She's sweet, she's one of the stronger eggheads, and she doesn't show off like CJ does.

According to BBC's 'The One Show' about two-three weeks' ago from my posting here, she guested on it and has said she is turning it in 'soon'. Hooray! Apparently she couldn't couldn't keep up with the schedules/travelling being too heavy a burden. Hopefully, it'll make the smug gits lose more often!!!

Will they add another egg head when Daphne retires?
They don't really need to, as even after Daphne leaves they'll still have 6 - Barry, Pat, Chris, Kevin, Dave, Judith.
But I guess they might want to make the schedule easier by always having 7, so maybe they will add another when Daphne retires.
