The song that they always sing...I forget her real name (I just started getting into the series through YouTube) but we all know that she is Sailor Venus, or also known as Sailor V.
Anyone else notice how C'est la Vie sounds like Sailor V almost?

The singer is Minako. I believe that's the point of the song.

Her name is Ayaka Komatsu. She also sings an english song called Cross My Heart. It's very 80's. I kind of like. I like her other songs from the show too.

The "Baby! Baby!" song is called Romance...i like that song too.

Yeah, I heard Ayaka's English song "Cross My Heart" it's really good I'm surprised how well her English is.

C'est La Vie is like a tongue and cheek look at her "secret" idenity and in French it means "That's Life."

I love this series. I've been watching it through YouTube.com myself and thanks for the uploads! But I have recently moved to an older apartment with no internet hookups right now and I'm going to the library to use the internet there. Is there any way that I might be able to get this in DVD format or even videocassate? I would be willing to pay the postage, shippng and handling and even the DVD format as long as it's not too expensive. Thanks!

I would try Ebay if I were you. Thats where I got my copy. However, my copy ended up being fansubs. I didn't know that until I got it but it still turned out pretty good. I forgot the name of their website where you can buy their sub. But if you want the real one still try Ebay. I think I saw some DVDs there. Try typing in Live Action Sailor Moon and see what you get! Hope that helps! Just a warning though, its somewhat pricey. I got mine (+the shipping) for $30 bucks even. I'm not sure on the prices of the official ones but if your a fan like I am, its all worth it!!!

I think a friend of mine got the entire series off Bittorrent. Not that I am condoning that ;) But the way I see it is that if the DVD is not available where you are then its kinda okay. I plan on buying my own copy but when I looked into it it came to 50US per disk so thats a little out of my league right now.

I thought until I saw the subtitles that they were singing Sailor V instead of Cest L Vie. I thought how did they not know that Aino was Sailor V when she has a song titled that?? I thought it was a good play on words.

From what I read, that was the point. Minako made references to her secret identity in her songs on the show. C'est La Vie was a major example of that. :)
