Hard to tell as I read the reviews and plot summaries whether this would be ok for my 12 yr old son to watch. I'm pretty liberal about what I let him watch, so long as I watch it with him. Just want to know if this is particularly scary or gory.

Hey there- I just watched it myself- in case you haven't watched it yet, there's nudity (full frontal) in it, though nothing too terrible in the way of beating up and blood. So, unless you're okay with him seeing boobies- I'd say probably not appropriate.

Where was there any "full frontal" nudity? This aired on Sci Fi Channel, so I doubt they would have allowed any full nudity. I watched it when it originally aired, and there were a couple of bare butt shots when JT is at the strip club. And I think you might have seen the side of one of Claudia's breasts when she is taking a bath and JT comes in to talk to her. But to say there was "Full Frontal", I just don't recall that at all. Unless there were a couple scenes added to the DVD that included nudity, I'd say it would be basically safe for a 12-16 year old.
Heck, I was watching R rated movies when I was 12 and had seen my first Playboy magazine by then, so I wouldn't be too worried.
There were a few scenes added onto the DVD version, probably edited for airing on sci-fi. on the DVD the nudity is very full frontal. but my brother was 11 when he watched it and had no problems, so i think youre pretty safe.
shareits not that bad at all. the violence is pretty mild. I watched it on cable just this morning, and i am 12, and felt there wasnt much wrong with it.
