Ok maybe it was just my own thinking of possible plot points. But for many scenes the way Jesse acted, she seemed to know more than she let on. Makes me think that for a while there was a possible angle that Jesse sent something back to herself?

Yes maybe! I didn't realize this until seeing your message! She might just sent this case to herself and expect herself to save her dad!
