I couldn't sleep and good old SBS gave me some reliable wacked out movie make me laugh in a very disturbing way...

It used to be a radio show for kids, they then made into this film.....so yes it is for kids
shareI would say that everyone in Denmark have heard about it,
and everyone I know have seen it, including my brother (he is 8 years old!)
and all his friends. Yes it is for kids but I have also talked to adults who loved it.
Its not entirely for kids.
I'd say its more like a cartoon alot like Simpsons. Kids can watch it but teenagers/matures are more likely to get more depth from it and see the versatile humor in it.

It was on SBS in Austraila last night again and I watched like 20 mins of it before i went to bed. There was a bit of violence and fair bit of blood in it too lol and some of the language they used would never ever be used in a kids show over here.
Harry Potter doesn't shower, he takes blood baths...
It's a movie for kids, yeah. Some of it may seem violent, and you know, it probably is. Then again, it's what entertains 6th graders (like Terkel himself is) and it's what's going on in their minds. Personally I first watched it being about that age - 11 or 12 - and I enjoyed it hugely. It's great fun, though the average parent probably wouldn't want their kid to see it.

Maybe we Danes just believe that children arent little morons that have to be shielded from everything "naughty" in such a way, they can get so repressed and scared of their own feelings and curiosity that it manifests the day they shoot up a highschool or goes nuclear in a post office ;)
