Unfortunately, I don't have HBO, so I haven't been able to see it yet, but does anybody know when or if the movie will be on DVD? Cause I'm just dying to see it after hearing such great things about it by so many people!

Idk if it'll come out or not. Alan Rickman did another movie, Rasputin, and I BELIEVE that was an HBO film to (someone correct me if I'm wrong) and that did come out on VHS, I dont think it's come out on DVD yet. But since Rasputin came out, maybe Something the Lord Made will too!!
I heard that Alan Rickman got nominated for an Emmy for his role in the movie, which makes me want to see it that much more. Hope he wins!

I went to Amazon.com to check it out. As of now, the website indicated that there were no plans to release the movie on DVD. However, you can sign up on their emailing list to be notified if it does. The website also indicated that a message would be sent to the producers to let them know that people are interested in buying the film on DVD. That might be an option for those of us who don't have HBO, but would still like to see it.

I imagine it will be released on DVD, otherwise Amazon wouldn't have gone to the effort of making a page for it. I think the 'not producing it on DVD' part meant that it's not currently available.
