Question from a beginner pls help out.

Can someone please tell me how u progress foward in this game after you go thru the wall and down in what looks like a abandoned subway... I got all the way up to the part were I met the girl i forget her name then she escapes into the bathroom and out come these dogs u have to fight... after that i was stuck...At first I thought u have to kill that giant Worm thing in the wall but whe im hit it it has little effect please let me know.......
Of course everyone speaks there mind were do you think their ideas come from their ass. (NY).
