I love when they show outside scenes with snow. Having lived in that area , it is surely cold and snowy.
I am wondering where they shoot those scenes? I guess they haul in the snow ?
It's filmed in LA, they sometimes used green screens for some outside shots but other than, it was all in LA.

shareI rarely watched this show but did see a few outside scenes while they were driving or in the parking lot. You could tell immediately it was in or around the NBC lot in Burbank as you could see palm trees in the distance. This was the same thing with the ABC sitcoms "The Middle" and "The Goldbergs". Both take place in Indiana and Pittsburgh respectively but you could tell they filmed exterior and high school scenes in L.A.
