I CRIED

Im pretty sure whoever reads this & watched this show knows exactly what episode's im talking about. S7 episodes 21 & 22. When they sang "Remember to call" & (SPOILER) when Pam gets to Michael at the airport. That hurt like a *beep* *reference*

I fell about laughing when I first saw Remember To Call, it had a cheese factor of 10. I felt differently when I found out it was for Steve, not Michael. Pam rushing to the airport was Hollywood rom-com through and through, unbelievably awful.

reply

Yeah that was pretty devastating but the saddest part for me was when Jim sits down beside Dwight crying in the hallway

reply

That is a great moment between Jim and Dwight. The first of a handful of moments that show that they don't actually hate each other, and make it believable that (SPOILER SPOILER) in the end they end up as friends.

I re-watched this episode yesterday (the last time I saw it was when it first aired years ago) and I was bawling my eyes out. Even the episode before this one when he proposes to Holly I cried because he finally got the girl who was his match. The scene when they sing the song to him in his final episode, you could tell he was emotional in real life. They all were. So sad :-( Really loved this show. I think that should have been the last season.

I never did watch this show in prime time but I have been watching in order for a month or so , I haven’t had the heart to watch Michael’s two- part farewell! Can’t do it. I know it will really upset me , I adore the character.
.

reply

Don't do it now. You have Endgame and Game of Thrones to get through. :-) Let a year go by first, then watch it. :-) lol

reply

LOL I do not watch those shows you mentioned . I should say I am watching in order from the ep after Michael leaves. I’m up to the one where Andy is about to take his trip on the boat. I watched some of these “post- Michael “ shows a time or two but wasn’t really paying that much attention as I am now!
I still have the early seasons with Michael when the show began. I’m really looking forward to them .

reply

Enjoy. I loved the show so much. It wasn’t the same when Michael left and I’m not a big fan of Andy. Let us know when you are finished so we can discuss as I don’t want to give anything away. :-)

reply

I am still making my way through the episodes . I absolutely agree , the show loses something without Carell. I agree with you, I really dislike Andy ( Helms) . All that inane singing and ukulele playing!!! GAWD, so sick of that.

reply

He is so lame and irritating. Tries way too hard. You are nearly at the finish line though. Thanks for keeping us posted.

reply

I know ! I am so sick of him. Though, he gets better toward the end of the series. Not so “ Nard dog”. I am watching in order via Netflix, but also watching sporadic eps that I have seen already . I am deliberately avoiding the last so , the finale final episode. I watched the first finale ep and it’s so
Sweet. Angela and Dwight are so adorbs. I STILL cannot watch Michael’s final episode. Too
Too sad.

I HATED it when the camera man comes onto screen. That was a huge mistake from the producers. He was annoying as well. I didn't see the point in it. We know the relationship between Pam and Jim was rocky and Pam is upset, so we don't need a camera man to come onto the screen and take us out of the experience, to show us Pam is having doubts. Grrrr

reply

Oh yes I can see how that bothered you . Honestly, it didn’t bother me too much and he wasn’t on many eps.
