Celine Dion sings the theme song from Nouvelle-France...

It appears that, in early October, Celine Dion has recorded the theme song for the upcoming movie Nouvelle-France (New France)... The song entitled "Ma Nouvelle-France" was written by none other than Luc Plamondon, and Patrick Doyle composed the music, as well as the score for the whole movie...

The movie will open in theaters on November 15...

Yes, she does. I'm a Céline fan and I had the chance to watch the recording of the song in a french canadian TV show. It's a very sad song, very sad lyrics but beautiful melody. Céline's voice sounds amazing, as always. The sound is very touching, everybody was crying on the recording session.

There is a saying that goes like this... "Don't judge a book by it's cover"; let's just say "Don't judge a movie by who sings the theme song"... Not very relevant...

Have a good one!
