Thank you Rockstar...

I had given up on the idea on a Manhunt 2. It doesn't normally take 4 years to make a sequel, and I kind of started to figure Manhunt 1 was just a filler game for the fans while they waited for a Max Payne sequel or something. I was VERY surprised when I found out recently a Manhunt 2 would be made. I just want to thank Rockstar for actually giving in to the die hard Manhunt fans out there.

I'm with you on that one. Playing Manhunt was fun, but time after time, I started to realize that my happiness wasn't yet fulfilled. I am just happy a sequel is being made and is coming out in just a few months. I wonder if the game will feature a power drill as a weapon. I have always wanted to see Cash use a power drill.

A powerdrill and a sledgehammer would be a nice addition.

Yeah, I thought I heard a rumor about a sledgehammer being used. One weapon that sounds brutal to use so far is the barbed wire bat. Just imagine...

more has been put on the official website...and the game has nothing to do with Cash apparently which has annoyed me slightly...i would have liked to have seen Cash escaping and then perhaps being hunted by some more gangs i dunno.

But anyway the trailers look good and the website is coming along nicely...i'm also very suprised they're releasing a sequel considering all the hype that the first one caused!! honestly...i can't believe parents are dumb enough to let kids under 18 play that game. you have to be dumb to do that it has an 18 cert for a reason!!!

Doin' what? Messy-up your day?

I also found this very annoying cash was a most essential part of the manhunt game...You never know they may have a cameo in a cutscene or something that at least would be cool. I think that rockstar in the future depending on the success of this manhunt 2. I think they should have mr.nasty countinue off with valient and with his new crew of extras go after cash. Then youd be cash running or fighting to actually finish this off once and for all. or something like that.

reply

Sorry to disappoint, but Cash is not going to be in this one. The new character is named Daniel Lamb.

reply

No offense but I'm sure most of us knew that for quite some time now.

Yeah, but the previous poster didn't. So, UHHHHHH no offense!

Okay, I said 'no offense' for a reason - not to be derogatory about what I said. Obviously you took offense.

To hell with Rockstar, they only released Manhunt 2 for consoles, not for PC.

Manhunt is a great game, then Rockstar disrespects PC gamers by not releasing it!

This diehard Manhunt fan is NOT thanking Rockstar!

You should instead be grateful! Manhunt 2 was the most disappointing game I've ever encountered--and after waiting so long nonetheless! I'm jealous of anyone that hasn't played this.

I haven't played number 2 and I really want to, is it really that bad? I loved number 1 so number 2 must be good?

I can't begin to tell you what a disappointment this game was. I loved Manhunt 1 beyond what is humanly imaginable, I've completed M1 at least a dozen times, and even named my dog James Earl Cash.

I've waited with baited breath for M2, but wish that I had never played it--it's that bad, miserable even. I completed the game in two rather brief sittings and I'm not one of these terribly good gamers, like the ones that are able to beat Resident Evil 4 in a couple of hours without a strategy guide.

Read up on it, the kills in Manhunt 2 are blurred (frustratingly so), and the story doesn't follow the first. I was hoping we'd have another snuff scenario with another rich guy wanting to see gory excitement, but all we get this time is...

Well, I shouldn't spoil it for you should I? I let you do that for yourself, play it and check back so we can moan about the insufficiencies together.
