2. Shy's mother was crying because she knew her son killed someone
3. Ridley left the money under his daughters bed in case he got caught
then basically the movies ends with Shy getting on his boat and leaving and Andrea and her dad getting ready to go to Hammer's funeral, Shy's mom upset for her son, and Pippa with a ton of cash due to the fact her Dad was nabbed by the FBI.
What I didn't like about the movie was the fact that we don't see any consequences of Shy shooting Andrea's brother. How does this affect their relationship? I wish they fleshed that out a little more before ending the movie.
I've seen this movie a ton of times because it is always on Starz and I always end up watching the whole thing. I believe that it is resolved when they show that Andrea left her shoes at the pier. This showed that she was so disgusted/sngry at Shy that she went straight home. I hope that makes sense. I know what I am thinking I just don't exactly know how to write it down. With alot of movies though it remains up to the viewer's interpretation of what has happened and build a conclusion in your own mind.

I do not think it did affect Andrea's relationship with her brother. Her brother seem to have pimp her out to a drug dealer. He didn't seem to care at all about his sister,he just cared about fitting in.
what did patrick do at the end? --Patrick had a crap life. His dad got arrested, his best friend will probably be arrested for murder, and he is a gay man in an area not exactly known for being tolerant.
why was shy's mother crying? --Because she had warned him to be careful and not to get caught up in anything. She lost his father to violence and now she's lost him to violence but in a different way.
and why were was the guy pissed that he didn't have any money? --Patrick's Dad: because he risked everything to steal it and give his family a better life. Now he realizes that the friend he tried to screw, screwed him first. --Rich: Because Fritz owes him money, told him it would be there, and it wasn't.
and did the other guy leave the money purposely for his daughter? --Yes he did. He says something akin to, "Look to your memories. That's all you'll ever need in life. Implying that as a way to atone for what he has done, he is giving the money to Pippa so that she can live a comfortable life."
