Season 3 came out just months before the London bombings

I wonder if the sketches about the lovable jihadists just being regular English lads didn't seem so funny after the events of July 7th, 2005 in London? In case anyone has forgotten, that was when four islamic suicide bombers killed 52 people and injured over 700. Three of the four terrorists were born in the UK, the ringleader was 30 years old and the other three were aged 18, 19, and 22. The similarities to the Monkey Dust characters Omar, Abdul and Shafiq were so striking I was amazed when I came onto this board and couldn't find any threads about it. I can't think of a more chilling example of life imitating art, and I strongly suspect that is the reason seasons two and three were never released on DVD.
