Absolutely Brilliant Show

Just came across this on Netflix, I love family guy n south park this blows them away.

I have been crying laughing at this show, cap. Hero is hilarious, I have absolutely no idea how they got away with half the stuff on this show.

Any other hidden gems like this show?

I agree. And yet those shows are still on the air.

Have you seen the Drawn Together movie? From what had been said in the special features on it's DVD, the show had pretty satisfying ratings. And watching the actual movie, it sounds like the creators of the show/movie blamed the cancellation on the fact that Drawn Together was offensive without important meanings. Whether or not that's true I don't know. They point out in the movie that the reason shows like South Park are so popular even though it can be offensive (but not nearly as offensive as Drawn Together) is because they involve social commentary in their episodes. So in the movie, the Drawn Together cast goes to "Make a Point Land" to make their show have a point so that they can go back on the air. It's really hilarious. Watch it if you haven't.

I don't know about outrageous animated TV shows like Drawn Together that people have not heard of. I'm actually surprised that a fan of Family Guy and South Park hasn't heard of Drawn Together. But I'm glad you found it and you enjoy it. The show is unappreciated. But as far as animated shows go that didn't get enough time in the spotlight, I'd say The Oblongs and Mission Hill, each only lasting 13 episodes. A lot of people really enjoyed The Critic, too. None of those shows are offensive, but they are true gems in the world of animated TV.

I just "rediscovered" Drawn Together (which means I nearly watched every episode the last days a few years after having it seen first) and I totally agree. It's top notch quality and so full of gags nearly every moment, without any areas off-limit . It's a lot, a lot better than South Park.

Funny because when the show was being produced, this board was littered with posts about how terrible it was. There wasn't even a balance, most of the comments were negative.

My favourite ever show, I could rewatch it over and over and never get sick of it.

It was the best. I don't know why it got cancelled after 3 seasons :(

It's a show built on the strongest extremes of comedic smut, perversion, degeneracy, immorality, and abnormality - content that you'll only find Jewish creators of whether they're writers, producers, or directors, even actors. Of course it's hilarious, and charming, and addictive, that's how it gets you. This show is confusing though because it plays out almost as a parody of the Jewish degeneracy that fills up Hollywood and I'm noticing a pattern of not a lot of anti-German Nazi jokes, but plenty of jokes at Jewish expense. Perhaps it's not purposeful but it might as well be. It's like the Jewish creators of Drawn Together were making fun of their own kind to the max.
